Watch a Video of the Candidates Running for US Representative 2018

The League of Women Voters of the Redding Area presented a Candidate Forum for the US House of Representative seat for us here in California Congressional District 1 on September 16, 2018, at the Anderson High School Auditorium.  

Approximatelly 450 people were in the auditorium with more in the lobby as the event space was not large enough to seat all of the people who attended.

2019 Picnic Trail Rides at the Wild Horse Sanctuary in Shingletown

Beginning June 8, 2019, the Wild Horse Sanctuary in Shingletown offers Picnic Rides to the public. Each Saturday in June, July, September and October ride the trails created by the wild horses and burros and have a picnic.  The morning ride leaves at 9:30 am and includes lunch.
